for Shannon ....and all todays _________________________________
two moons in view in early winter i met the cold rain and snow and you over fallow fields in the glow of starlite and snow to the windless woods of your soul in twilight like firelight the heartstone knew our love is in view to the two moons with early morning winter we flew _________________________________
i am the frozen of wintry woods in the solitude of quiet nights follow only the trees that never leave to hear your laughter swirl and chase after echoes from home _________________________________
from shortest light and longest night of white winter bare trees held circled hands while wandering windswept clouds crossed the night sky eyes of dancing shadows flicker upon the snowfall glow of your soul who rose to scatter the darkness awakens me in my dreams too a vision of you in a crystal stream of moonbeams _________________________________
as the back of the winter moon turns black the view i wane too darkstars rise to shine the midnight snow in moondust saved for us with the lust of twilight's glow _________________________________
in twilight as i looked through graylight and woods of snow i was took by the crunch of my soul and the darkness owned by the light that flickered through the graylight and woods of snow _________________________________
tonight twilight i am alone the only one in the blackest white of midnight a lone star shone i roamed you were home calling if i should go back to the fields and through the woods of snow _________________________________
i stand before the enchanted takes my hand and the many wintry moons of the sun beckon i am _________________________________
a tree at night is not quite the shape that comes to my sight in winter's light then the other shadows move at will as my sight spills scattering the chills into the thrills of the night _________________________________
tomorrow said today winter tried to go away too i said today tomorrow i will go follow where night is day then you will never have to go to go away _________________________________
at last the moon was full when the shadows last at night was you _________________________________
there is frost around the moon and in the eyes of you i and the bare trees taught by the stars the clouds are free i cannot pretend too listen to the wind for when the snow glows on quiet nights i can hear whispers of fear and fright follow the night _________________________________
some time i can not be winter's light my soul knows the cold darkness and woe of life and the day cannot free the frozen words hidden from sight _________________________________
just a couple of times i have heard the trees make ryhme in time with the cold blowing snow and moonglow laughing out loud with the clouds _________________________________
i never knew last night spoke to you and never told the moon what i wanted to _________________________________
i see by the dark of the moon your eyes still my heart aches of cold snow blown in gales against the windows and whispers of my soul _________________________________
i stand with a crystal in my hand bare with the glow of the full moon and snow warm and cold as gold _________________________________
i see you next to me the moon next to you touch the shadows of the nights in the soul now i know the darkness brings the dawn to warm the cold hearts i know _________________________________
i cross nights of white skies alongside crystal clouds as winter laughs the wind brings out loud a sudden chill of dark eyes only to find me at peace in the wilderness the end
